Is this the same as an outsourced CFO?
It overlaps. Some clients use it that way — a regular seat at the monthly review. Others engage us for one decision. The quotation reflects which you want.
Do you need our management accounts?
Yes, or the records to build them from. Part of the initial work is establishing whether the numbers are reliable enough to advise on.
What do you build the model in?
Usually a spreadsheet you own and can keep using, unless you already have a planning tool you would rather we work in.
How often are forecasts refreshed?
Monthly or quarterly, depending on how fast your business moves. We agree the cycle in the quotation.
Do we have to change accounting system?
No. We work in whatever you already use. If you do not have one, we will recommend something proportionate rather than the largest option.
Are we behind? Can you catch us up?
Yes, and it is common. We scope the catch-up separately so you can see what it costs to get current before committing to the ongoing service.
Do you handle payroll?
Payroll processing can be included. Say so in your inquiry and we will scope it in.
